Supernova SN2007ar

 

Supernova 2007ar were detected on picture from the night 12 of mars 2007 in MCG+10-19-62 (PGC 46604), a galaxy in UMa (mag=15.4).

Telescope: 0.32m f/3.1 Newton  (Moonbase observatory primary optical instrument). CCD:  Starlight Xpress MX716.

The discovery picture 20070312.916UT 2x30 sek unfiltered ccd. Sn mag=17.5F.

Confirmation picture 20070313.77UT 20x30 sek unfiltered ccd. Sn mag=17.5F.

Reference picture from 20070107.04UT 2x30 sek unfiltered ccd. No Sn.

Second confirmation picture from UAO (Uppsala Astronomical Observatory) and 0.90 m f/5 Westerlund telescope.
