Supernova SN2006su

 

Supernova were discovered on picture from the night 18 of december 2006 in IC 3772, a small galaxy in CVn (mag=15.6).

Telescope: 0.32m f/3.1 Newton  (Moonbase observatory main optical instrument). CCD:  Starlight Xpress MX716.

The discovery picture 20061218.146UT 2x30 sek unfiltered ccd. Sn mag=17.7F.

Confirmation picture 20061220.166UT 20x30 sek unfiltered ccd. Sn mag=17.4F.

Reference picture from 20050411.92UT 2x30 sek unfiltered ccd. No Sn.
